Because we're near the ocean and can get stong gusts we decided on 4 foot rebar pols, sunken about half way down, with a little sacrete. The polls just slide over the part that sticks out and we can take them down in a hurry if the wind kicks up too much, or if we want to change colors for a different mood. thanks so much for this wonderful product. beth
